FAQ
Q1. Is Thunderwall safe?

Thunderwall is 100% safe! Although it produces a very nasty shock, it is actually safe to humans. The imported Energizing system that we use produces a high shock value of 10,000+ volts but at a very low amperage, just enough to stun and scare, but not enough to kill, burn, or cause serious injury. The 10,000 volt shockwave lasts a duration of 1/10 of a second at about 55 cycles a minute. So the current is not continuous. It is safe to your neighbors.

Q2. What if they try to cut through the fence?

First of all, if I were an intruder or member of an Akyat-Bahay Gang, I would transfer my operations to a non-electric fence-household.

Okay, but what if, they really try to cut through?

THUNDERWALL uses the same type of steel cable used in the shipping industry. I guess it would take 1,000 bites on one spot by a pliers to finally cut through (but that figure is still pretty optimistic)!

If you purchase your electric fence from others, intruders will try to cut through and get through! Why? Because the competition uses 1-millimeter thick cables or solid steel wire , which is easily cut by large pliers--the kind that you can easily buy at ACE Hardware or TrueValue for less than a hundred pesos. But they say that cutting through will trigger an alarm! It's like saying, "I'm selling you this bulletproof vest, but if a bullet passes through, we'll send you to the hospital." Hmmmmm...

I say Filipino criminals are one of the most "WAIS" in the world. They would easily put an insulated jumper wire with clips on both ends, then cut, making alarms inoperable!

But then again, our competition might try to say that steel cable is a poor conductor. Well, I say, doesn't MERALCO use steel cable?

So, before you purchase an electric fence, better take the PLIERS CHALLENGE!

(Okay, if they try to cut, an alarm will sound.)

Q3. Are all wires of your electric fence electrified?

This is what separates Thunderwall from the others: ALL, we mean ALL layers of our wires are electrified. With our competition, you get an electric fence that has electricity only on ALTERNATING WIRES (electrified wire, ground wire, electrified wire, ground wire...), so you get only half a fence! So an intruder has a 50% chance of touching an electrified wire! What the hell kind of electric fences are they selling you?

All wires of a Thunderwall electric fence are electrified. Period!

Ask our competition: "Are all layers or wires of your system electrified?" (Ouch!)

Q4. Is it easy to operate?

All it takes is a simple flick of the switch. You can choose to leave it on 24 hours a day (that's what we recommend) or you can turn it on during nightime. No DIP switches to memorize. No complicated codes to learn. No unecessary crap. You don't need a degree in rocket science to operate Thunderwall! Even your househelp can operate it!

Q5. But what if there is a blackout?

In this country, blackouts are as normal as breathing; worse, there's a massive blackout everytime a major storm or typhoon comes along. Not to mention, your regular scheduled "periodic maintenance by Meralco." AND INTRUDERS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BLACKOUTS!

What use is a security system, such as an alarm, if it cannot protect you 24 hours a day, seven days a week? Since Thunderwall doesn't rely on your home's 220 volts for it to operate, blackouts won't affect it.

Instead, Thunderwall is solar powered--powered by the SUN! A 12-volt, no maintenance, LITHIUM BATTERY is energized by a solar panel. Even if the sun doesn't shine for 30 days, Thunderwall will still operate from its battery's 30-day power reserve! (However, you do have to worry when the sun experiences a blackout! But then again, that would be the end of the world, wouldn't it?)

Warning! Ask our competition: "If there's a brownout, up to how many hours will your system operate? Will your electric fence survive a 24-hour brownout?" (Answer: our competition's electric fences only have a 12-hour power backup--after that--no more electric shock!)

Q6. But I plan to get a security guard?

How much does a security guard cost nowadays? We'll tell you--P40,000 a month or P480,000 a year for just ONE SHIFT. Or P960,000 a year for round the clock protection. Affordable?

With a Thunderwall Electric Fence, you don't need one! Or if your employ three or four to protect an office or warehouse, you can reduce the number of guards you use.

With Thunderwall, there's no monthly security dues to pay!

Q7. How much in electricity costs do I have to pay a month to operate Thunderwall?

As we mentioned earlier, the system is powered by the sun--solar power.

Q8. My neighbours have sophisticated alarm systems

Thunderwall is better than installing expensive home alarm systems or engaging the services of alarm monitoring systems such as ADT (where you pay monthly dues). Why? Because alarm systems, in order for them to be activated, means that the intruders are already inside your property! The thought of six goons armed with knives, already inside, is pretty scary, isn't it?

THUNDERWALL KEEPS INTRUDERS OUTSIDE YOUR PROPERTY! Intruders would think twice before targetting your home.

Q9. But what if I already have barbwire or broken glass on top of my walls?

Thunderwall beats barbwire because hardened criminals can climb over barbwire. They also often "chisel" out the broken glass or put "sako" over the barb wire before scaling walls. But 10,000+ volts beats hardened criminals. Enough said.

Q10. What is included in the Thunderwall package?*

  • And of course, tender-loving care...
*Specs subject to change without further notice.

Q11. How much will it cost me?

Again, how much does a security guard cost in a year? How much is security and peace of mind? Can you put a price on the lives of your love ones?

The Thunderwall system requires only a one-time investment of P230,000-P245,000 to protect your 400 square meter home. P295,000-315,000 for 600-700 square meters, P330,000-350,000 for 900-1,000 square meters. Investment costs may vary, may be higher or lower, depending on the complexity and height of the walls, and the distance of the project.

Q12. Can I afford it?

The question to ask is, “Can I put a price on my family?”

Q13. How long does it take to install Thunderwall?

Ten days, 15 days max. It depends... (The sunnier - the faster; the wetter...)
